What is the GradeExpert™ ?

The GradeExpert™ is suite of OPC products dedicated to analyzing, troubleshooting and maximizing quality performance in the Refining, Headbox/Approach Piping, Wet Pressing, Felt Conditioning and
Steam Drying processes.

Why the GradeExpert™ was Developed ?

As papermachine speeds increase and competition places more stringent demands on their performance, computing technology
must beable to address these concerns. Unfortunately, the great
vast of control automation suppliers and machine builders do not
fully understand the complexity or have the required in-depth knowledge to perform the correct systems calculations. The Refining and headbox/approach Piping are classic examples.

PAPYRUS INC. has been utilizing the GradeExpert™ technology for over 22 years as a service oriented basis in over 600 papermachines for more than 400 companies worldwide.

SINGLE KEYSTROKE has combined forces with PAPYRUS INC. for developing an online OPC compliant version of the GradeExpert™ in an effort to fill the gaps that are crippling the industry. Thus providing "Added Value" to papermachine operations which increases marketplace presence.

Currently, we have the following modules in different sections of the papermachine operation:

1. Refining utilizing the C-Factor theory.
2.headbox/approach Piping Systems.
3. Wet Pressing utilizing the Decreasing Permeability theory.
4. Felt Conditioning system utilizing the DeCrosta equations.
5. Steam Drying system.
